Who will die at the end of Volume 3

There has been a photograph circulating around showing Sylar kneeling down to pour some kind of fuel over a half-dead body of a blonde. A lot of rumours discuss the possibility of the dead woman.

Here is one picture showing how the half-dead woman resembles Elle. I do not have the answer of who will die but personally I think Elle is the one as she is only signed for a few episodes in Volume 3 and there is a low possibility that she will return in Volume 4.



Here is a video confirming evidence that one of the cast members will not last till the end of the Volume/season.

Timeline

As you all know Heroes involves time travelling which is one of the coolest elements in the show but it also brings about confusion to many audience. To try to clear the air on what happens first, here is the timeline for all the events in chronological order. The timeline also includes plots in the Heroes graphic novel and possible futures that may not happen in the real show.

Ultimate spin-off graphic novel

In 2007, due to the writer's strike season 2 of Heroes was cut short to 12 episodes which left many audience in anger. However, the one thing that has kept Heroes fans from continuing their passion for Heroes is the weekly release of Heroes Graphic Novel. Here I am, talking about the Heroes comic again.

Most of the graphic novel episodes released after season 2 ends are revolving around a traitor named Evsdropper that through many attempts, trying to bring down the company. This storyline is exceptionally long and almost (as far as I remember) noone from this storyline comes into play in the tv episodes. It starts off with Donna Dunlap, a girl who has super vision, receiving messages from Evsdropper telling Donna to betray the Company. This plot spans over 20+ episodes, from Ch81-103.

For those who would like to see characters with special abilities like altering people's appearance, telescopic vision, cloning, lung adaptation etc, these chapters are quite a pleasure for you. Click HERE to access the graphic novels.

Volume 3: Villains is coming to an end with the last episode named "Duality".

Volume 4: Fugitives will only be aired in February 2009 as it is replaced by a couple of shows such as Superstars of Dance and Momma’s Boys. Let's all hope that the ending for Villains is not as subtle as Volume 2 given that all the directors have ample time and "money" to film this volume.

Heroes Destiny Part 3

Part 3 of the webisodes is out!! Not that fascinating as I thought, the whole scene is shot in a dark room in a factory, there aint any fight scenes involved in this episode. Rather I like the last few seconds of this episode, check it out yourself now!

To make the show more realistic to the general public, NBC has been hosting make belief websites for companies in the show such as Primatech Paper Company, Pinehearst Company, Yamagato Fellowship. Oblivious to many readers, the official website of Primatech Paper Company actually has hidden database of some of the heroes. The database is called assignment tracker which requires password to access.

Gossips of the week 1

Here are some of the latest gossips about Heroes:

1, It is unknown if Trevor Zeitlan's (the guy who can break glass and was introduced by Elle to Sylar in season 3) ability is only capable of breaking glass a few metres away. When he confronts Sylar, he should have gotten a chance to break Sylar's glasses but he fails to do that. That only proves Trevor ain't a very smart guy afterall despite his actual extent of his ability being unknown.

2, The Haitian family aint just a bunch of ordinary Carribeans. Besides Haitian has the ability to stop people around him using their power and erase people's memory, Haitian's brother, Baron Samedi, too has the ability of impenetrable skin which grants him great resistance to normal physical attacks by bullets, fire and knives. He has been a "prison of war" in Level 5 for quite some time and is one of the many Level 5 escapees.
Also, according to the Heroes Graphic Novel Ch35-36:"It takes a village", Haitian's father, Guillame, also has special ability. His power is to manipulate emotions of other people and this extraordinary power is believed to have been granted by the Loa, which is a god in the African's myth.
In my opinion I still think the Haitian has the best ability among his family members, but more light will shine onto Baron in the next few episodes (12-13) in season 3, and maybe we will be able to see a great fight between the brothers.

3, During an exclusive interview with Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine who plays the painter, Usutu, in season 3, he discloses that all the paintings depicting Parkman's future are not actually painted physically on rocks. Instead, those paintings are painted on a canvas and then blended in with the rock by doing a bit of touch up. NONE is painted on the rock directly!
Remember Usutu can enable others to see the future by giving the paste or music to that person? The paste that is used is nothing fantastic but hyena dung (some kind of fox shit)! And Masi (Hiro) actually wanted a spittoon when he saw it! That is how disgusting it is that we can imagine.

Heroes tripled up

This post is to show what NBC actually publishes or releases every monday in the US.
The official weekly release includes:

1, Heroes Season 3 Volume 3: Villains (should be 13 episodes and Volume 4: Fugitives should make up the last 12 episodes)
2, Heroes Graphic Novel (released every week in spite of the Writers Guild of America Strike in 2007)
3, Heroes Destiny webisode (maybe up to 7 episodes)

The Heroes interactive story(iStory) is not updated regularly on a weekly basis but it is still an official NBC's production.

Some forums actually host games such as Heroes RPG on http://www.heroestherpg.proboards55.com/ However, these games are not NBC's production and therefore whether to participate or not is entirely up to you! :)

Romance between Ando & Kimiko (Or so it seems)

Ando Masahashi, loyal friend and company of Hiro, has become the main character in the series since season 2. Since then he has become the witty one who provides solutions to Hiro whenever Hiro is in trouble. His affection for Kimiko Nakamura, Hiro's beloved sister and then the executive vice president of Yamagato Industries, has been shed light on the show. So does Kimiko, the intelligent and successful CEO of the Yamagato Fellowship, falls for the "ability-less" Ando.
More details can be found in the Heroes Graphic Novel, according to Ch 47 & 48: Heroism is found in the heart part 1 and 2, there is actually chemistry sparkled between Ando and Kimiko. Apparently, Ando passes Kaito's bravery test and he is winning Kimiko's heart. This can be seen at the end of the chapter as she throws him an affectionate kiss after fighting off the gangsters. However one may argue a kiss does not mean anything in the modern 21st century.

P.S. Actually I feel that Ando is kind of tyco (lucky) to have fought off those gangsters, Kimiko is indeed the better combater of the two. :P

The effect of the solar eclipse

Little did I notice the importance of the solar eclipse that occured in the previous seasons. Only until now (season 3), it has become apparent that the eclipse has an effect to bar Heroes' abilities across the continents. If you have been following the show carefully, you will find that eclipse has occured even since the first episode Genesis in Volume One: Genesis.

It was when Peter noticed out of the back window of Mohinder Suresh's cab that an eclipse was beginning. While the guys had a nice chat about evolution and stuff, in Japan Hiro Nakamura was in awe of the emerging eclipse. Niki Sandras saw the eclipse using Micah's pinhole viewer in Las Vegas and Claire with her friend Zach stare at the opague sky in Odessa, TX.

Now the question is how our beloved heroes or hated villains going to gain their power once again with the occurence of the eclipse. That we shall wait for the upcoming episodes to answer this burning question. The eclipse is set to be one of the backbones of season 3's storyline.

Heroes Going Postal

Heroes Going Postal, the predecessor of the new webisodes Heroes Destiny, was released in July 2008. It consists of three short episodes introducing Echo DeMille who has the ability of sound manipulation. He can magnify his voice and blast his enemies ears off. Critics on these mini webseries vary as some say it is too short and has introduced no new elements to enhance one's understanding of the show. Some critics comment a good effort has been put in to film these miniseries. Heroes Postal is NBC's first attempt to find out if webseries can be well received by the audience. Personally I feel that Going Postal is not so bad and should have garnered some supports of the audience, and that is why NBC decides to film new webisodes like Heroes Destiny. I am really looking forward to the part 3 and 4 of the adventure of the great Santiago!

Heroes graphic novel is here! (Updated Ch1-10)

Ever since the first season of Heroes: Gemesis was on air in 2006, NBC has released the official Heroes webcomic called the Heroes Graphic Novel on a weekly basis. The Story not only serves as supplement to the main show on air, it also provides extra background information and introduces a lot of Heroes that are never shown on the tv show. Wildstorm had actually released the complied version of Volume One and Volume Two so far and the hardcopy covers are actually on sale in bookstores such as Kinokuniya in Taka (Singapore). Every tuesday NBC releases a new chapter which consists of about 6-9 pages online, as of today (23-11-08), a total of 112 chapters have been released. Each chapter features one or two characters which allows readers to understand each of them in depth.

For those who have read Ch113 and 114 and watched episode 11, you will proabably know much more about Daphne Millbrook (played by Brea Grant)and her miserable past. Luckily, according to an exclusive interview with Brea Grant by superheroesprofile.com, Brea Grant will continue to play a recurring role in Volume 4,she will be one of the fugitives that are on the plane that is going to crash in some remote island like in LOST. So hurray to those who like the fastest hero in the show, you will see much more of her in Feb 2009!!

So what exactly is going to happen in Volume 4 and who the new cast members are!

1, So far, it is confirmed that Moira Kelly, the actress from One Tree Hill, is going to play as Abby Collins, a homeland security agent, in at least one of the episodes in Volume 4.

2, Dan Byrd, from Aliens in America, will have a recurring role as Luke with ability to emit microwave, apparently he will be "working" hand in hand with Sylar.

3, Of course there is a need to mold a new villain in this new exciting volume. From superheroesprofile.com, Zeljko Ivanek will be playing a role as the Hunter and he is going to hunt down all the heroes that survive in the plane crash.

Heroes webisode is out! (a.k.a. Heroes Destiny)

It is always delightful to watch webisodes that revolve around the main storylines.

Here comes the four-part Heroes Destiny websiodes. It was a contest held by NBC and Sprint for contestants to create their own favorite heroes. The winner is a hero called Santiago which has ability to see through and counter other people's moves and accordingly. (NBC calls it Accelerated Probability and Super Speed) In my opinon I am sure he is no match for Daphne, the super speed girl introduced in Season 3 portrayed by Brea Grant. Actually I am thinking if Flash (the cartoon character) can have a race with Daphne!

Part 1 Let Us Pray introduces Santiago realizing his power and his encounter with a mysterious girl, Eliza, he is fond of at first sight. (officially released on November 10, 2008)

Part 2 Intervention sees Santiago winning a soccer match using his special ability and as he shows his compassion for Eliza, he is faced with unfathomable danger that can cause him his life. (officially released on November 17, 2008)
